Welcome to Openstudy website where you find online programmes offered by the Distance Education Department of the Islamic College.

At Openstudy we see ourselves as a caring, friendly but serious and well-disciplined institution. We aim to help students achieve excellence in the field of Islamic studies and related disciplines. Openstudy offers flexible programmes, allowing you to select modules to complete your course and enabling you to complete your studies in a time period which suits your lifestyle. You can start as a full-time student and switch to part-time status (or vice versa) at any stage of your studies.

In addition to non-degree courses, we are offering two MA degrees, both validated by Middlesex University. The first MA is in Islamic Studies and the second is in Comparative Philosophy: Islamic and Western. We also offer Postgraduate Diplomas validated by Middlesex in both these subjects.

Students are not required to have a particular religious affiliation. Openstudy welcomes all applicants, Muslims and non-Muslims alike, from all over the world.
